The City: Where has all the Whimsy Gone?

This mosaic was started by Karen Stark who created a foreground showing a cityscape with several escaped gargoyles having adventures around the city, while several others remain in place on their buildings. Perhaps you can locate all 8! By previous arrangement the decision was to divide the space in half following a slight diagonal. Lora Spangler then continued the whimsical urban theme with a middle ground building with clock tower, the sky complete with flying machine, and a large leafy green creature perched atop a skyscraper! Materials include glass, pate de verre, stained glass, mirror tiles, beads, and glazed and unglazed ceramic tiles.
